This library contains books that have been donated or loaned to the CHS Cricket Club for members of the club, and their families, to be able to borrow and read them in the hope that doing so will build upon their knowledge, understanding, and enjoyment of the game of cricket.

 

Should you find a book that you would like to borrow please contact the TIC for Cricket who will issue you with the book.  Books will only be able to be borrowed by a fully paid up member of the club and can only be borrowed for a maximum period of one calendar month.  No books will be able to be borrowed during the months of December or January to help protect from loss and damage during the Christmas and New Year period, unless stated otherwise by the person loaning or donating the book to the club.

 

Please be aware that some books require a deposit to further protect against loss and damage.  These are indicated by a ($) symbol and are usually placed upon loaned books, signed books, or old and rare books that have been donated to the club.  

 

An (L) indicates the book has been loaned to the club and a (D) indicates the book has been donated to the club.  In both cases our aim is to ensure the name or names of the person or persons loaning or donating the book will appear next the book.

 

Deposits will be at a per book rate as below and all deposits will be repaid upon return of the book or books, or if you may wish you may choose to pass it on as a donation to the CHS Cricket Club.  In addition there will be limits to the number of books you will be able to borrow at any one time.  These limits are listed below also.

LOANED BOOKS

 

Unsigned Books                     $1 deposit               2 books maximum at any one time

Signed Books                          $2 deposit               1 book maximum at any one time

Old and Rare Books               $5 deposit               1 book maximum at any one time

 

DONATED BOOKS

 

Unsigned Books                     NO DEPOSIT          3 books maximum at any one time

Signed Books                          $2 deposit               1 book maximum at any one time

Old and Rare Books               $5 deposit               1 book maximum at any one time

 

 

Should you, or someone you know,  have books relating to cricket that you would like to loan or donate to the club please contact the TIC for Cricket.
